YTA's Oakland Spring Novice Attracts Over Sixty Participants from the Bay Area.
The San Francisco Spring Novice at Ella Hill Hutch was Enjoyed by All.
Last month at San Francisco's Ella Hill Hutch Community Center, a beautiful, warm and bright day was the setting for the Youth Tennis Advantage (YTA) Spring Novice USTA Junior Tennis Tournament. YTA Tournament Director Carl Mendoza helped deliver a fun and engaging YTA tournament where 37 boys and girls ages 8-14, played a round-robin format and met numerous other children and adults who enjoy tennis. In all, 11 YTA participants competed in the tournament this year, leaving the majority of competitors representing youth from varioius tennis clubs and parks within the Bay Area. Special thanks to Elana and Nancy for volunteering as Youth Leaders at this event. The next YTA Spring Novice USTA Junior Tennis Tournament is scheduled for May 24-25 at the historic Davie Tennis Stadium in Oakland. We anticipate a larger crowd as YTA will be hosting all age groups in the May tournament. We hope to see you there!
