Life Skills
Meeting a celebrity like Lindsey Davenport can be exciting and overwhelming. Serving as a ball kid at a major event is often fun but intimidating for a child.
Having practiced life skills as simple as looking someone in the eyes and clearly introducing oneself sure pays off when the 'big moment' happens. At YTA children rehearse and engage in all types of life skills activities. From our association with the national First Serve, Inc., a youth empowerment organization with a well written life skills curriculum, to the regular opportunities of field trips to special events where YTA participants have the opportunity to meet new people and interact with them, life skills activities are helping prepare our kids for the future.
